Dave Hodgson

David Hodgson held a range of senior management positions with large international companies including Rio Tinto, MIM Holdings and Xstrata before becoming an independent consultant specialising in organisational improvement. He has worked in both site and corporate settings and has a background in operations and maintenance leadership, organisation development and human resources. His career to date includes experience in Australia, Canada and PNG and over six years in South America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. David’s consulting services and solutions are based on technical and professional business qualifications and capabilities developed in manufacturing, the resources sector, airline industry and oil refining. These Services are provided through a process of combining high levels of client involvement, specialist organisation development expertise and practical analysis as essentials in developing and implementing sustainable improvements. CONSULTING SERVICES INCLUDE:  Organisational review, restructuring and problem solving.  Organisational improvement planning and implementation.  Human resources systems review and design.  Process consulting and facilitating.  Leadership development and coaching. RECENT PROJECTS:  Organisation development, HR systems design and leader / team development program implementation for a new aluminium smelter project in the Middle East.  Review and development of structure, resourcing and systems improvements to the maintenance function of a large Australian oil refining Company.  Organisational review and realignment of several Divisions of a major airline. David and his wife Jayne have three children and live in Brisbane, Australia.
